Prime minister Narendra Modi while addressing the first summit in two decades between India and Luxembourg on Thursday pitched for the strengthening and mutual cooperation in financial and digital technologies. The summit was held through videoconferencing. PM Modi also talked about common values in both countries like democracy, rule of law, and freedom which have strengthened the bilateral ties. Two agreements were signed by the Luxembourg stock exchange with SBI and the India International Exchange, while the third was between Luxinnovation and invest India. Luxembourg is India’s 3rd largest source of FPI.
