Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee won Hillary Clinton’s endorsement on Tuesday. Clinton, running for the same post, had lost to current President Donald Trump in 2016.

The endorsement took place at an online town hall meeting on the effects of the coronavirus crisis on women.

Clinton told the former vice president: “I am thrilled to be part of your campaign to not only endorse you but to help highlight a lot of the issues that are at stake in this presidential election.”

Clinton – a onetime secretary of state, US senator from New York and first lady, continues to be popular among women in US, often raising their issues and demands and this endorsement would definitely raise his profile with female voters.
